Frequently asked question about ResX

Does Resoptima offer ResX training courses?

Yes, we have a number of training solutions adapted to the users' experience, as well as bespoke programs

Resoptima has a standard “Introduction to ResX” 2-day training course that can be offered on demand to customers that are new to the software or who want to refresh their knowledge. The training course takes you through the entire process of creating & analyzing an initial ensemble, creating & analyzing a history match study and performing & analyzing a forecast study.

We also offer a more advanced 2-day training course, built for hands-on challenges typically faced during reservoir modelling. The training course includes sections such as locating an infill well target, concept probability and structural uncertainty.

Alternately (or in addition), since ensemble-based reservoir modelling is a fundamentally different way of working for most people, we can arrange an onboarding period as part of the first ResX project, i.e. on-the-job training. Not only is it very motivating for people to work on their own project data, but they also get the huge benefit of extracting direct value to the asset from the learning process.

We are open to customizing our training offer to your needs, just get in touch with us at info@resoptima.com
