Together with Eni’s Goliat subsurface team we have published a summary of a recent ResX study.

The article is entitled Integrated Software Tool Brings Speed, Reliability to Reservoir Modeling on Barents Sea Project and is featured in the Technology session of JPT online.

The study performed on the Goliat field, operated by Eni in the Barents Sea offshore Norway, demonstrates how ResX’s ensemble-based modelling approach brings together computer power, data and subsurface team expertise to improve reservoir understanding in a fraction of time needed with traditional tools and approaches. Supported by the results, Eni could confirm previously identified infill well targets and, more importantly, identify several new suitable candidate locations for infill drilling.

Increasing productivity and efficiency through the life of the field is a goal that can only be achieved with effective reservoir management. Contact us if you want to know how Resoptima can help you.
